Adobe Commerce Deployment issue 'does not support Valkey backend model'

If you’ve recently deployed one of the latest release lines of Magento on Commerce Cloud and have:

REDIS_BACKEND: '\Magento\Framework\Cache\Backend\RemoteSynchronizedCache'

ERROR: Magento version '2.4.7.0-patch5' does not support Valkey backend 
model '\Magento\Framework\Cache\Backend\RemoteSynchronizedCache'

There is a Github issue for this problem. That
latest release of ece-tools does have a fix for the issue albeit not a great fix.
